Device Insurance

Due to rising costs, the school will no longer be purchasing warranties for student devices. As a result, families will be responsible for 100% of the cost of any damage to school-owned Chromebooks beginning this school year.

To help offset potential repair or replacement costs, we have partnered with School Device Coverage to offer an optional device insurance program. This annual, opt-in program is available to all families and provides comprehensive coverage for your student’s device at a cost of $44 for the 2025–26 school year.

Coverage includes:
  • Unlimited repairs
  • Accidental damage
  • Broken screens
  • Charging failure
  • Water damage
  • Mechanical failure
  • Loss and theft
  • Damage to any loaner devices used during repairs

Key details:
Enrollment is open through September 30, 2025. After this date, the enrollment window will close and no additional sign-ups will be accepted.

Families who do not purchase coverage will be responsible for all repair or replacement costs before a loaner device can be issued.
