Technology Fees

AVA is a one-to-one school; each student is assigned a computer for use during the school year. Elementary Students use their assigned computer during the school day; Middle School Students are allowed to take computers home at night to help with homework.

 

AVA tries to foster a sense of responsibility and instill values of accountability among students. Students and their families will be responsible for paying all fees due to damage to a school-owned computer. The act of paying for damages serves as a tangible consequence for irresponsible behavior and hopefully acts as a deterrent against mistreatment or neglect of school property.
