Weekly "Newsletter" From Mrs. Stump:

Two week Spring Break countdown!! Woohoo!!

We are officially one week away from Spring Conferences! You will see the conference sign-up coming out this week. An email will be sent on Monday, from 3rd Grade, explaining how 3rd Grade conferences are a little different in the spring because they are student-led. The students take the lead in sharing their growth, goals, and reflections, and it is always such a special experience. Please be sure to read Monday’s email before signing up so you know exactly what to expect.

Student Council is also hosting a Kindness Week! On Monday, students may wear hats with their uniforms, and Friday will be a jersey day with uniform bottoms. We are looking forward to celebrating kindness together as a school community.

A quick PE reminder: students will be running the mile next week. Please make sure your child comes to school with tennis shoes and a healthy snack so they are fueled and ready to do their best!!

Lastly, the Scholastic Book Fair will be here the week of conferences! We will have a preview day on Monday morning, and students who have money in their eWallet will be able to shop on Wednesday morning. You are also welcome to bring your child to the fair during the hours listed in AVA’s last weekly newsletter.

Can't believe we are almost to our last quarter together!

With love,
Mrs. Stump

Meet Mrs. Mindy Stump

I am delighted to begin my tenth year at Aspen View Academy this year! I have been teaching for 18 years. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education at John Brown University and my Masters of Education at Cedarville University.

It is a privilege to be a teacher. I became a teacher to impact the lives of students. My first goal is to provide a safe and caring environment for your child. Secondly, I strive to provide a learning experience where each student is able to meet their full potential as students and future leaders. Thirdly, I want to partner with you to create a team that works for the best interests of your child.

It is crucial to a child's success to have support and encouragement from their families, school, and community. I appreciate your involvement and support this year as we work together. I look forward to an excellent 2025-2026 school year!
