Welcome to Music!

My name is Tyler Griffin and I am the general music teacher for Middle School here at Aspen View Academy this year. I am very excited to share my love of music with you this year! 

A little bit about me: I was born and raised here in Castle Rock, where I spent my free time learning new instruments, enjoying the outdoors, playing board games, and spending time with my family. I then spent 8 years out in California where I attended and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Music Education, and went on to teach music at a K-12 school in San Diego. 

My wife, Claire, our newborn son, Townes, and I moved back to Colorado just a few weeks ago, and we are so happy to be here! I'm looking forward to getting to know each one of you, and to make some great music together!
