Governing Board Openings

Per Aspen View Academy By-laws, two seats on the Aspen View Academy Governing Board will be ending in May 2024. One of the seats is an elected seat. The additional seat is appointed, and may be appointed by the AVA Board of Directors at their May 16th, 2024 meeting.
Candidate Campaign Questionnaires
The AVA Board of Directors Candidate Questionnaire is now available to review. As per Board Policies, there are two seats that will open at the end of this year, one of which is an electable seat. We have received questionnaire answers from three candidates, and you can access their responses at the following links.
We encourage all parents and AVA staff members to carefully review the candidates' responses and make an informed decision when voting. Voting will be held from May 9th through May 13th, in accordance with the AVA Board Election Policy. Each parent and AVA staff member is entitled to one vote.

There will be a candidate forum as part of the April 25 th Board Meeting.  The forum will be for the current board to ask questions of all candidates and will begin at 6PM as part of the working session. If you have any questions for the candidates please email them to Eric Lute.
We believe that the AVA Board of Directors plays a crucial role in guiding the school and ensuring that it continues to provide a high-quality education to all students. Therefore, we urge you to take the time to review the questionnaire responses and participate in the election process.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our school. If you have any questions, please email Eric Lute at [email protected]
