Per Aspen View Academy By-laws, three seats on the Aspen View Academy Governing Board will be vacant May 2026. One of the seats is an elected seat with a 3 year term. The additional two seats are appointed, one of which is a 3 year term and the other is a 1 year term. The seats will be appointed by the AVA Board of Directors at their May 14th 2026 meeting.
Board Election Process
The campaign questionnaire for each candidate will be posted on the school website and emailed to the school community on April 20th. There will be a candidate forum at the AVA board meeting o nApril 23rd as part of the Board’s Working Session. Candidates will be required to attend the April Board meeting to participate in the candidate Q&A.
Parents and staff are encouraged to submit questions for the candidate Q&A to [email protected].
The election will take place May 6th through May 8th. Each parent and AVA staff member may vote per AVA Board Election Policy. No Proxy voting will be allowed.
The AVA Election Committee will tabulate the votes and announce the results at the May 14thAVA Board meeting.
