Hi AVA Students and Families!
I'm so excited to be teaching Middle School technology again. I feel blessed to have this opportunity to work with the future leaders of tomorrow (and maybe show them some things they didn't already know).
I will be working with your students for just 9 weeks (one quarter) and during that time we'll work on Google applications (doc, sheets, slides, drawings) we'll mix that up with some keyboarding skills, internet safety and coding. For my 7th and 8th grade students I'm adding some Graphic design, 3D modeling and possibly stop motion films. A lot of my assignments are self guided and all about problem solving. Timing of these things depends on the students pace. I'm looking forward to seeing them grow, it should be a lot of fun.
My goal is expose them to new technologies, and strengthen their problem solving skills so they are better prepared for high school. I'm here to support them, give them the resources and structure they need. It's going to be a wonderful year!
