Mr. McComber

I am thrilled to be at Aspen View Academy for my 34th year as an educator! I grew up in Littleton, Colorado, and graduated from Littleton High School before attending the University of Northern Colorado, where I earned my B.A. in English.

I began my teaching career in middle school, where I taught for eight years. I later returned to school to earn my M.A. and elementary teaching credential. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, first, second, fourth, and fifth grades—and kindergarten is definitely my favorite! My love of learning eventually took me back to school once again, where I earned another master’s degree and my license as a Teacher Librarian.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my little Morkie, exploring nature, visiting waterfalls, collecting whirligigs, and going to live theater. I’m excited to be part of the AVA community and look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing, and having fun with my kindergarteners!
