A Little About Mrs. Hurdle

Hello! My name is Mrs. Hurdle and I am excited to join the 8th grade team this year. Previously, I taught 4th grade at Aspen View but left when my youngest daughter was born. Now that she has officially started kindergarten, I am coming back to the classroom.

 

I have three daughters (all either currently at or attended AVA), a step-son in college, and a step-daughter who is grown and has a family of her own. I have three animals- two cats and a dog. 

 

When I am not teaching, you can usually find me at some type of youth athletic event. My oldest daughter plays softball in high school and at the club level. My middle daughter is a competitive cheerleader. My youngest daughter is still exploring the different activities, but she is currently doing Taekwondo and competitive cheer.

 

If I find myself with any free time at all, I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, and cooking.
