A Little About Mrs. Hurdle

Hello! My name is Mrs. Hurdle and I teach 8th grade English. I love to read and write, so this is a perfect fit for me. The thing I love most about teaching English in middle school is helping students explore the world through the written word.

 

I am married and have three children, plus two bonus children. I also have a dog and two cats.  

 

When I am not teaching, you can usually find me at some type of youth athletic event. My oldest daughter plays softball in high school and at the club level. My middle daughter is a competitive cheerleader who will be on the JV cheer team as a freshman this coming year. My youngest daughter loves to explore different activities. Currently, her favorites are t-ball, gymnastics, and swimming.

 

While my free time is rare, I always make sure I find the time to workout and read.
