I am very excited to be teaching Middle School Theater/Choir and Performing Arts here at AVA for my third year.  After successful runs of Annie Jr. and The Wizard of Oz as the Director and The Addams Family Musical in 2023 as the Music Director, I am happy to announce Guys and Dolls Jr. as our musical for May 2026. This year I will be teaching Choir on A day and Theater on B day in the first two Quarters. My explorations are Vocal Master Class and a One Act Play to be performed in December.

I am the mother of a Sophomore at Castle View High School who is on a Real Club Soccer team, Castle View JV Girls Soccer team and a member of Versailles Women's Choir at Castle View.  My professional background is as an Opera Singer at the New York Metropolitan Opera as well as traveling the world singing and acting with many opera companies.  Namely, Santa Fe Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Lyric Opera Kansas City, Dallas Opera and New York City Opera to name a few.  I have also traveled the world singing in such places as Japan, Ireland, Italy, France and England.  I have been teaching private voice lessons for many years and look forward to incorporating voice into my classroom as well as stage movement and theater.  I have been married to my husband for over 24 years and we moved to Colorado in 2019.  Along with our family of 3, we have two 4 legged family members, Lucy and Pico.  I look forward to working with your children and helping with their confidence on stage to prepare them for exciting opportunities in Community Theater and High School Theater and Musicals!
