* Please use your student's username (last name followed by first initial and middle initial) with the extension "@s.avak8.org" when logging into both the google web browser and the google application (some usernames have numbers in them). The password is Ava and their lunch number. Please see the format example below:

* Both the Google application and the classroom must be logged in this way. You, as the parent, cannot be logged into Google and then your student may try to log into Google Classroom.

Requesting Work Early 

We really appreciate your dedication to your child’s success in our classes. While we have a general plan of where we will be while they are out, the reality of teaching is that we are unable to project exactly what work students will need ahead of class. As educators, we pride ourselves on adapting to student needs and assignments may change based on where the class is at any given moment. With that said, we post all assignments to Google Classroom each day (noted on the blue sheet you signed earlier this year) which all students will be able to access. Additionally, all textbooks/readers that your child will need are posted on Google Classroom as well. Should you choose to complete work while away and don’t have access to a printer, work can be completed on any paper you have available; please have the correct heading at the top with their name and the name of the assignment (i.e. AP 12.1, Exit Ticket Ch. 1, etc.).

With this in mind and the resources that are provided to you as detailed above, please note that we will not be giving work early. Thank you for your understanding.
