Welcome to kindergarten!

Hello and welcome!

My name is Jessica Simon, and I am thrilled to be your child’s kindergarten teacher for the upcoming school year. Kindergarten is a time of incredible growth, discovery, and joy, and I feel truly honored to be part of this important milestone in your child’s life.

This year marks my 11th year in education, and I’m just as excited today as I was when I started. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University, and later completed my Master’s of Education in Literacy at Stephen F. Austin State University. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach kindergarten through third grade as well as literacy intervention—experiences that have shaped my passion for helping young learners build strong foundations in both academics and confidence.

In our classroom, you can expect a nurturing, engaging, and literacy-rich environment where every child is supported and celebrated. I can’t wait to get to know your child and partner with you to make this a memorable and meaningful school year.
