Ms. Kristin's Pre-K Class

I am so very excited to be back at Aspen View Academy for my eighth year! My first three years at AVA I was a Kindergarten Para. This will be my fifth year teaching Pre-K, it's going to be so much fun! Before working at AVA I worked from home while raising my two kiddos. Juliette, my daughter, is in 11th grade and Knox, my son, is in 8th now. I have been married for 18 years to my amazing husband, Phillip. We live in Castle Rock, and love this community with our whole hearts. There are six of us at home including our dogs, Cocoa and Hope. In my spare time I like to be with family and friends, craft, try new foods, run and travel-to try new foods. 

My mission is to make each child feel loved and accepted for exactly who they are. I want to help teach the whole child, mind, body and spirit.

Our class, the Campfire Crew, will get loud, get messy, laugh and learn through exploration and play.

We will take care of ourselves, take care of our friends and take care of our classroom. 

It is truly an honor teach such young minds, please know that I do not take this responsibility lightly. I look forward to partnering with your family to help your student feel confident and to be successful. I am just over the moon with excitement! Let's have a great school year class family! Yay!
