Weekly "Newsletter" From Mrs. Stump:
Hello 3rd Grade Parents!
As we approach the final week of the school year, we wanted to remind you of some exciting events and activities that will be taking place next week:
  • Monday - Field Day: Students can come to school dressed in spirit wear and comfy bottoms. The school will be providing a choice of hamburger or hot dog (along with a veggie, fruit, etc.) for lunch. Students are also welcome to bring their own lunch if they prefer. It is also Game Day! Kids can bring in their games from home to play with their friends.
  • Tuesday - Shark Tank Day: This is the day when our students will be presenting their inventions. If your student is recording their presentation at home, please email it to me by Monday evening.
  • Wednesday: Fort Day! Students can bring a blanket and a stuffie.
  • Thursday - Half Day: Students will be released at 11:30 AM. Students will be participating in a Luau this day (but they don’t know this yet), and students may bring a beach towel to sit on for the day!
We hope these events add to the excitement of the final week of school. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to celebrating the end of the school year with you and your children!

Meet Mrs. Mindy Stump

I am delighted to begin my eighth year at Aspen View Academy this year! I have been teaching for 16 years. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education at John Brown University and my Masters of Education at Cedarville University.

It is a privilege to be a teacher. I became a teacher to impact the lives of students. My first goal is to provide a safe and caring environment for your child. Secondly, I strive to provide a learning experience where each student is able to meet their full potential as students and future leaders. Thirdly, I want to partner with you to create a team that works for the best interests of your child.

It is crucial to a child's success to have support and encouragement from their families, school, and community. I appreciate your involvement and support this year as we work together. I look forward to an excellent 2023-2024 school year!
