Mission and Vision

The mission of the PTO will be to organize, communicate, and facilitate various activities and fundraisers that align with the school’s policies and mission and vision while providing positive interaction and/or fostering support among the AVA parents, teachers. staff, administration, and the surrounding community.  The PTO will oversee two committees to be formed this year: a Fundraising Committee and the Community Relations and Support Team.

All members of the PTO and its committees will operate with integrity and kindness in a constructive collaborative and respectful manner with the volunteer coordinator school administration and in accordance with the AVA Community Agreement.  Officers and committee members will be supportive and knowledgeable of school policy, and will use only appropriate and approved channels of communication to inform and engage the AVA Community on the various activities by the Foundation throughout the school year.

Why Do We Fund Raise? How are funds spent?

The Aspen View Academy PTO connects classrooms, families and our community. Funds raised by the PTO help fund school events and school activities. Every year Aspen View Academy holds two major fundraising events. We started the year off with our Fun Run and we will be ending the year with a Golf Tournament. Each year funds raised have been used to purchase: Electronic sign at the main entrance, funding the music buildings, upgrading technology, and to support athletics.

This year, based on direction from the AVA Administration, the PTO is raising funds with the Dinner and Silent Auction to provide updates to the outdoor areas of the school. Our fundraising goal for this event is $20,000.00.

It’s time for our second fundraiser of the year!

When: Friday, February 7, 2020

Where: Maggiano’s Little Italy – 7401 S Clinton St, Englewood

Time: 7:00pm

There will be passed appetizers and a buffet dinner.

Price: $35 per ticket through January 31st. Price will be $40/ticket starting February 1st.  Staff and teacher tickets are $25 for them and a guest.

Ticket sales are not yet open.

Price of ticket includes appetizers, dinner, non-alcoholic drinks, and tip.
