Device Free Dinner Challenge

WHAT IS THE #DEVICE FREE DINNER CHALLENGE?

This challenge is the idea of our Middle School Student Senate, grades 6th-8th, along with resources gathered from Common Sense Media, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Edutopia.com. As a follow-up from our Middle School Health Expo in January, hosted by Student Senate, our students have studied the effects of healthy vs. unhealthy technology usage and how important it is to help students set tech boundaries and screen-life balance.

The challenge is a week-long event that will take place beginning February 3rd, 2020. We encourage families to abandon all forms of technology/media during dinner time.

HOW DO WE PLEDGE?

It’s simple! Click on the “Sign Up” link to pledge your family’s participation. Pledging families will be entered into a random drawing for prizes from our sponsors.

WE’VE PLEDGED, NOW WHAT?
