Intervention K-5

I am excited to begin my sixth year at Aspen View Academy!  Through student support, I desire to help students grow academically in the areas of math and reading.  I believe in instilling a sense of confidence and success in all students.  "Success=Learning and Improving, not just winning".  My experience in education includes teaching Kindergarten and teaching Elementary Science for the past 20 years.  I grew up in Southern California and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Child Development.  I am married to Jeff and we have two sons, 25 and 22, and one daughter and a son-in-law, 20 & 21.  We have an adorable and crazy dog, Miya.  In my spare time I love watching movies, reading, hiking, backpacking, and traveling.  My family moved to Colorado in 2003 and we love the amazing outdoors, the different seasons, and the beautiful blue sky.
