September 1: Labor Day (No School)
September 4th: Curriculum Night: Please join us for an evening of information! Classroom presentation from 6:00-6:30 and then go to the gym to meet the specials and steam team from 6:40-7:10pm
September 8th: Fun Run Kick-off!
Knowledge/Skills (Reading and Writing): This week we will continue unit one and learn about nouns and tricky words. Please review the words: are, were, have, a, the, one, once, do, and, two.
In writing we will practice writing in complete sentences and learning a new graphic organizer.
Math:
This week we will continue review from kinder and learn our doubles with the "doubles Rap"
Core Knowledge: Human body unit
In this unit we will learn about how germs can make us sick, the different body systems, and functions of our systems.
